- If you have an outlook profile with an exchange account and a POP/IMAP account, with your POP/IMAP account as the default account. When you select to send a mail by exchange account, you mail would be sent by the POP/IMAP (it's SMTP) account instead of the exchange account.
- If you don't have WinRAR installed on your system and you select to compress files by 7-Zip, you get message "No files to send"
- If you have an antivirus product installed on your system which scans outgoing email and you choose to send email by POP/IMAP (SMTP) account and the port is the default port 25; all the mails queue up with the antivirus. To handle this delay has been added when sending mail by SMTP port 25.
- When you add a shortcut file to the file list, the shortcut's target was not being used, instead the shortcut file was being send.

Installing AB Mass Mailer Pro 2
AB Mass Mailer Pro doesn't require an installation. You can directly run the executable file from anywhere. The application has been developed keeping in mind those people who doesn't have administrative rights on their computer.
Removing AB Mass Mailer Pro 2
To remove AB Mass Mailer Pro you just need to delete it's executable file. However, you should check you temporary folder, if you ever happened to kill this application. To go to the temporary folder type "%temp% in the windows explorer and press enter. Look out for folders starting with "AB"

- If you specify the email account manually or use a GMail account and don't have any Outlook profile configured, and you type just the recipient's name instead of he complete email id. You will not be prompted to complete it. Your mails will simply not be sent. To resolve the issue, enter complete email id, instead of just names.
- If you select to send email by an exchange account and your outlook is not running, you are prompted for the password. If you cancel this password prompt, you won't get the password prompt again no matter how many times you select to Retry/Resend the file(s). To fix this, restart the application and don't cancel the password prompt this time. If you selected to create an archive using WinRAR or 7-Zip last time, select the file created by WinRAR or 7-Zip directly in step 2 and choose to send the files directly without creating archive.
- If you select to compress your files by 7-Zip, you won't see any thing happing on the form "Compressing your files", this is due to a change in 7-Zip due to which AB Mass Mailer can't read the status of 7-Zip. You can simply ignore the issue, your files were being created.
Troubleshooting
- When you select to send mail by an Exchange account and sending just fails with the message "Unable to connect to your mail server.", keep your outlook running while AB Mass Mailer Pro is running. This is due a bug in MAPI subsystem.
- If you notice some un-usual behavior, download DebugView, run it before starting AB Mass Mailer Pro and at the end save the log/traces in DebugView and send it to support@ashusoft.com for analysis.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Why can't AB Mass Mailer retrieve the email accounts from
Outlook Express?
This support was not added because the software author never used Outlook Express. However, this feature will be added as soon as possible.

- Support for retrieving email accounts from Mozilla Thunderbird, Outlook Express
- Adding suppor for compressing file using Zip file format.
